The EquestriMalta Cawnpore Cup at Malta Polo Club

Cawnpore Cup is the most prestigious trophy held by the Club, first raised in India in 1901 and brought to Malta in 1947 when it was gifted to the Club. The Cawnpore Cup is the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the Club, and has been fiercely contested by the eight highest handicapped playing members of the club. Since 1947, traditionally it is always the last match of the Club’s playing season.

US Polo Assn. proudly sponsored the Cawnpore Cup, the most prestigious trophy held by the Club.
